Having just completed the 2nd year of a Graphic Design Degree at University Campus Suffolk, I thought it was about time I got into a bit of 'social media networking'! I now have Flickr, Redbubble, Delicious, Facebook and Twitter accounts. God only knows how I will find the time to keep up with them all!
My user name has kind of stuck by default as this is my greyhound's Twitter account name, and it seemed easier to keep them all the same - obviously I'm not actually a hound! My real name is Nicki and I am a somewhat mature student.
I have to say that I am a bit bemused by all this sharing - not sure how much any viewer will learn about the real me, but hey, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em! It was a little perturbing to see 4 pages of results displayed when I did a search on my real name - big brother and all that!
It just remains to be be seen whether I actually have anything interesting, funny or useful to impart (that I can share anyway!).
